I recently commissioned AXCESS to build a garage. From the outset David Fenelon was very helpful and supportive in reviewing the plans and giving suggestions. He organised all the ground work,blockwork,roofing, plastering and electrics/lighting. The project was done within time and within budget. I found him professional and reliable and I’m very pleased with the end result.
Having been advised by somebody checking our house, that there was a bad leak in the living room and kitchen, we called David and he agreed to come and assess the problem and see repairs were going to be needed. Even though it was New Years eve and we are in England, David came out and surveyed the damage and provided us with a quote over the New Year break.
The work was scheduled in and all I can say is that we are extremely pleased with the repairs carried out by David. There were no ‘hidden extras’ in the invoice and we will certainly use David for any future work and would not hesitate to recommend him if you are needing repairs to an existing roof or a new roof construction.
David has worked on our house from top to bottom,inside and out. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Axcess for any job no matter how big or small. David is very punctual and consistent. I write this letter in recommendation of David Fenelon as a general contractor. I had the pleasure of working with David on the extension of our house in May 2015. I can recommend him highly and without reservation.
Throughout the course of the renovation, Mr. Fenelon was a consummate professional. When he came to the site to look at the project he was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project.
Our project involved groundworks, foundations, timber frame and roofing construction and tiling installation. Our job was done with care and precision and to the best standard possible.
In addition, he is extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. He and his assistant never left the worksite in disarray and were very punctual and met all promised dates.

About 8 months ago, we engage David Fenelon, of Axcess Roofing & Building, to convert our large attic space. At that time it was only accessible through a hatch with ladder, and was not developed at all, with only some glass fibre insulation between floor beams. The plan was to create a large, open-plan studio space plus a small washroom.
David did the complete conversion, including all insulation, plastering and wood work on time and within budget. He also coordinated the electrical and plumbing work required for the conversion. We found that from start to finish David offered a very professional service and good advice, also given that this was a large conversion. We can definitely recommend him for any such work.
We bought our house in Wexford town last year and found ourselves without an office. We set about converting our garage to an office with an en-suite and contacted Axcess Roofing & Building to give us some guidance. I have known David for a few years having worked with him on his online promotion for the last few years. David came out and gave us great advice and let us know what our options were. From start to finish, David showed his extensive knowledge and expertise on the entire process of converting the garage into an office space and was friendly and polite. There was no intrusion at all into our family life which was very important as we live here with 3 young kids who were all completely undisturbed. There were a few questions relating to the plumbing of the ensuite, including a new electric shower, toilet and sink and David was able to give us excellent guidance and advice as to our options. In the end, he was able to guide us into making good choices with the space based on his experience. The workmanship overall was second to none, the guys were all very friendly, very timely and there was never any mess at all. I’m now delighted with my cosy new office which is fully insulated, costs hardly anything to heat and has a fantastic ensuite, which in hindsight is a great use of the space. The plastering work was amazing and considering some of the walls started of with a huge curve, the transformation was miraculous. We had to brick up what used to be a garage door and David went the extra mile to actually source the bricks from the same quarry where the bricks for the house came from. The brickwork is immaculate and we’ve had many comments from neighbours about what an amazing job was done. David is a true professional and I have the utmost respect for his workmanship and the exceedingly high standards he holds himself and his team up to. 1000% recommendation – if you need any work done, call David Fenelon and his team – they’re the best.
